Область примененияExtrusion lines are used to produce pipes, profiles, sheets and foils from a continuous web of plastic material. The plastic is continuously fed in the form of granulate to a screw, which rotates in a heated metal cylinder.
The resulting frictional heat, together with heat from an external source, melt the plastic granulate and the rotating screw homogenizes the molten mass, passing it at the same time through the nozzle orifice.
In the nozzle, the plasticated mass is disseminated and formed in such a way that the contour of the product to be extruded emerges from the outlet orifice. The product is then brought to its precise and final form with the aid of sizing and cooling devices. A take-off device removes the product without jerk and at a steady speed from the nozzle.
This solution is aimed particularly at the equipment of pipe and profile extruders.

ДизайнThe solution was conceived as open standard. The user can utilize the basic functions of the standard, but can also easily expand and adapt it to his particular machine configuration.
With this approach, the extrusion package reduces the equipment of extruders considerably, since the typical basic functions are already integrated.
The application software for extrusion is created from the standard STEP 7 configuring software packages (control/automation) and ProTool/Pro (visualization).
Depending on the requirements, operator panels and controllers from the SIMATIC family which deviate from the standard configuration can also be used when adapted appropriately.
The integrated solution of operator communication system and controller can be optimally supplemented with drive technology from Siemens.
The standard application for extrusion is preconfigured for interfacing drives with analog I/O. The analog interface can, of course, also be replaced by a PROFIBUS DP network.
As option, we also offer an auxiliary "extrusion" operator panel for fast, intuitive extruder control. |

Engineering
The standard application is preconfigured with ProTool/Pro operator graphics and STEP 7 program for the above-mentioned hardware. Once the hardware has been configured and the software loaded, the solution is ready to run.
The concept and the interface documentation enable adaptation to another hardware configuration as well as expansion of the standard application. |
