Intelligent drives
The new servo drives SIMOVERT MASTERDRIVES Motion Control (MC) have been specifically tailored to the requirements to be met in general industrial application.
The following motors can be connected:
- Servo motors 1FK6/1FT6
- Compact asynchronous machines 1PH7
- Standard asynchronous machines
According to the particular application and requirements, it is possible to connect up various encoders.
The SIMOVERT MASTERDRIVES series is completely uniform in respect of:
- Communication
- Technology
- Operator control and visualization.
All SIMOVERT MASTERDRIVES are available as AC units for direct connection to the power system or as DC units for multi-axis drives.
SIMOVERT MASTERDRIVES MC is designed for the voltage range 3-ph. AC 380 V to 480 V; 50 Hz/60 Hz. Additionally SIMOVERT MASTERDRIVES is certified worldwide to EN/UL/CSA. Hence, even in the standard version, SIMOVERT MASTERDRIVES can be used worldwide.
SIMOVERT MASTERDRIVES Motion Control is characterized by:
- Very high dynamic response
- Flexibility in hardware and software
- Freely connectable function blocks to enable users to configure further control functions in the frequency converter.
- Integrated positioning
- Angular synchronism between the drives.
Hence it is able to meet the exacting demands made in servo technology.
The program is rounded off by a complete spectrum of system components and accessories. Uniform, customer-specific system solutions (automation - converter - motor) can be offered for a whole range of applications in all branches of industry.
